♬ Santa Barbara Bowl Instrument Fund ♬
At the Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation, we believe that music has the power to transform individuals and unite communities. The Instrument Fund brings that to life, ensuring that students have access to quality instruments and the resources they need to thrive as musicians.
Created in direct response to the recurring needs of local schools and arts education programs, the Instrument Fund repairs and replaces instruments for Santa Barbara County K-12 students.
Examples of requests that qualify: purchasing new instruments, repairs for broken instruments including tune-ups, music equipment and supplies such as cases, tuners, strings, straps, etc.
Examples of requests that do not qualify: performance costs, instructor fees, licensing fees, transportation to performances, etc.
Applications are reviewed by the Outreach Grants Committee, and decisions are typically made within two weeks. If your request is approved, you'll receive an email confirmation with next steps. Funding can be issued as a reimbursement check to your school or organization, or a music retailer can invoice the Bowl directly.
If you have any questions or need assistance with your application, please contact Outreach Program Manager, Lyndsay Thomas at lyndsay@sbbowl.com or 805-308-9787.
